Rich is responsible for strategic market development and key initiatives for Microsoft Corporation’s U.S. K-12 Education and Higher Education market segments in the company’s Public Sector organization.
He has over 25 years experience in the technology industry and has focused for the past 18 years on the applicability of technology solutions to teaching, learning and education business administration. Prior to joining Microsoft, Rich was the National Director of U.S. Business Development for K-12 Education at Oracle Corporation and the U.S. Manager of Business Development for Education at Digital Equipment Corporation. Rich regularly speaks on technology trends in education at numerous education forums, and has, for example, previously spoken at the National Education Computing Conference, the Florida Education Technology Conference, Educause, the Council of Chief State School Officers and the California Education Technology Association.
Rich is a graduate of Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and the Executive Development Program of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
