TracDat whose plans include more than five outcomes, individuals
or institutions considering adopting TracDat, and finally
academic staff who are developing or modifying assessment
plans and processes. |

| Katharine E. Cummings earned a Ph.D. in Secondary Education
with an emphasis in teacher preparation at the University
of Illinois in 1989. Cummings directed the secondary education
program at North Dakota State University before moving
to Western Michigan University in 1999. She currently
serves as the Associate Dean of the College of Education.
Her research and publications have focused on the use
of portfolios in higher education, assessment of candidates
in teacher education, the use of case studies to prepare
mentors for new teachers, and program evaluation in higher
education. |
