A Perspective on TracDat4 from the Nuventive CEO

Since its inception in 2000, Nuventive has pursued a singular vision – to provide the best solutions for helping higher education institutions achieve meaningful improvement – and to demonstrate this improvement in an effective and accessible manner. The Nuventive leadership team began this quest in 2000. Over the last decade we have maintained our focus on educational improvement, adding new solutions and improving our flagship product, TracDat, based on knowledge gained from scores of implementations and working closely with our very knowledgeable customers.

Nuventive has also pursued a consistent vision for assessment at each level, from the institution (or system of institutions) to the individual seeking to improve and demonstrate progress. This vision has included user centric control of data and data access, a longitudinal view of improvement, and a recognition that relevant data is distributed across a large number of people and organizations within an institution. Nuventive solutions are designed for user control of access, portability and ease of acquisition of data from a wide variety of sources.

I am proud to announce the release of TracDat 4. The newest version of our industry-leading institutional assessment solution continues our long tradition of market leadership in the higher education market. TracDat 4 brings many exciting new capabilities to our flagship product. I am particularly excited about the ability to extend the power of the application throughout a campus with new enhancements such as our innovative email data collection system that supports broad participation in assessment without any knowledge of the technology needed by end users. We believe this easy access to the collection and submission of quality data from across the organization will have a material impact on creating a culture of assessment for many institutions.
